Official rules to follow
- Clear, in focus, colour, taken in a well-lit room
- Not altered by software or filters; not mirrored or flipped
- At least 600 pixels wide and 750 pixels tall; vertically orientated
- At least 50KB and no more than 6MB
- Show head, shoulders and upper body
- Must not be a scan/photo of another photo, must not be the same photo as in your passport or ID card
- Facial features clearly visible, plain expression, mouth closed, eyes open; shoulders and torso clothed
- No head covering unless religious or medical; no shadows
