Official rules to follow
- Colour photo taken within last 6 months
- Face camera directly, eyes open, mouth closed, ears visible, natural expression
- Face yaw no more than 20 degrees, pitch no more than 25 degrees
- No hats/headscarves unless religious, and must not cover the face
- No damage/stains, no light leak or shadow, natural skin, no red eye; eye distance > 60 px
- Digital (at 354x472): face width 205±14 px, crown 10-70 px from top, eyes at least 256 px above bottom edge; if both cannot be met, prioritise eye position (tall hair may be cropped)
- Printed: head width 15-22 mm, head height 28-33 mm, crown 3-5 mm from top, at least 7 mm below chin
- Printed photo on glossy photo paper (not textured or plain paper)
