Official rules to follow
- Accepted size range 35-40 mm wide x 45-50 mm high (minimum outside dimensions 35 x 45 mm)
- No retouching or post-capture alterations: no background removal, mole removal or red-eye removal
- Hair must be clear of the eyes/eyelids and sides of the face
- Even studio lighting; no shadows under chin or behind head
- Printed on high-quality, heavy-weight glossy photo paper; overseas posts reject inkjet prints (dye-sublimation recommended)
- Neutral expression, mouth closed, eyes open, facing camera; less than 6 months old
